A visit to the School of Agriculture

On March 13^th the pupils of the 3^rd junior high school of Komotini attended an educational programme called “The child in the food world”, which was organized by the School of Agriculture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

During their visit the pupils became familiar with the basic principles of a balanced nutrition, with the methods of food preservation and food processing.  The pupils examined food labels and packaging but above all, they experimented and were actively involved in the production of yogurt.
